What is a buyback?
A buyback is the process of selling your stuff to us so that it becomes our stuff, which we can then sell to someone else to become their stuff!
Does that mean I need to have bought it from Bull Moose first?
Nope! You can sell us stuff you’ve picked up from anywhere over the years, though we do love when you trade back the things you bought at Bull Moose for more cool things.
What will I get from selling my stuff back?
Once we’ve processed your items we will offer you store credit or cash. While the store credit does have a bonus value, we can certainly cash it out if preferred. You can even mix and match if you’d like to keep some as store credit and the rest as cash!
How do I get started?
It’s easy! Just bring your stuff on down to your local store and our staff will help you through the process. Oftentimes we can process your items on the spot but for larger collections we recommend calling ahead, or preparing to wait a little bit for it to be processed. You must be physically present at the start of the transaction, but we can finalize it over the phone if you want to drop it off and come back later.
What do you buy back?
If it’s media or pop culture related, we want it! Below is a list of some of the items we’re most interested in, but if you’re not sure it can’t hurt to bring something by and see if we can make you an offer on it.
Movies
We buy any movie on a shiny disc, but we especially are interested in your Blu-Ray and 4k UHD discs. Horror and Animation are in especially high demand, and we’d love to have a look at your collection. Movies must be in cases with their original artwork.
We may also be interested in your collection of movies on collectable formats such as Laser Disc or RCA video, but again, we recommend calling ahead first just to make sure the location is able to take them in at that time.
CD’s
We buy all genres of music but are especially interested in Punk, Metal, Hip-Hop, and Imports. CD’s must be in cases with their original artwork.
Vinyl
We take in 33’s and 45’s (no 78’s, sorry!) and are most interested in Classic Rock and modern artists. We may be pickier about Jazz & Classical compared to other genres, but we’d still like to have a look!
For collections with rare or highly sought-after pressings, please be sure to call ahead to speak with a Head Clerk to set up an appointment.
Books
We love modern Fiction, YA, Manga, and Graphic Novels. We may be pickier about reference and hobby books (Cooking, Travel, etc.) but we’d still like to take a look!
Books should have minimal wear and internal markings. We do not generally take in book club editions, sorry!
Games
We buy any and all video game cartridge, disc, accessory, or system all the way from Atari2600 through PS5. Your retro games (PlayStation and older) may be worth more than you think, so bring ‘em by and let us make an offer! New generation games should be in cases with their original artwork, but retro cartridge games can be loose.
We also buy board games, so long as they have all of their pieces. We especially love modern ones such as Catan, Ticket to Ride, CaH, and so on.
Toys & Collectables
Action Figures, LEGO sets, Funko Pops, Statues, you name it! Does it look cool on a shelf? Bring it on by!
